Associates in Applied Sciences(AAS) in Fitness Training from Clark College

I am a wife of 18 years with 3 children 14,11,6. We moved to Vancouver, WA straight out of college when I was in my 20’s. I was really active in my younger years, but then after having kids things got hectic and I found it really hard to put myself on the list. I’ve had some up’s and downs but my determination and people I surround myself with helped me get to where I am today.

I finished in the top of my class at Clark College in 2017 to certify as a Fitness Trainer. I hold accreditations in NASM-CPT, and am working to continue my education in kettlebells, and corrective exercise

I want to meet people where they are at. To help them live their best life, so they can be as active and healthy as possible. I will expose and teach individuals new ways of being active on their own or in a group setting, to dig deep and get strong from the inside out.

I understand how important that is, so part of my training is to provide a very basic and simple way to workout without the added stress of large amounts of equipment or people. Workouts vary slightly depending on the individual. I incorporate bodyweight, resistance bands, TRX straps, kettlebells, while also working on balance and joint stability.

Everyone has a unique and beautiful story that I want to learn about and incorporate into a powerful experience. I believe that listening and being open to learning from each other can change the way we see the world. I hope to not only bring educational experience but my own life experience which can help me relate and motivate individuals towards their very own health and wellness goals through exercise.

It’s important to be able to incorporate real life expectations because our lives are busy! That was part of the inspiration for my business name For Real Life Fitness.
